This is an important meeting for all waterfowlers. A group of stakeholders/users is attempting to restrict access on the Mocassin Island track in Brevard County from (7) seven days a week down to (3) three days a week. If you can not make the meeting, please e-mail Doug Voltolino @ dvoltolina@sjrwmd.com or Robert Christianson @ rchristianson@sjrwmd.com with your comments on this issue. Please take the time to write!!!

This is an important meeting for all waterfowlers.

A group of stakeholders/users is attempting to "restrict" access on (3000) three thousand acres of the Mocassin Island track in Brevard County.

The currently "approved" management plan has been in place since 2008 for this 'isolated, walk-in only" area.

These stakeholders are attempting to "restrict" access from (7) seven days a week down to (3) three days a week.

If you can not make the meeting, please e-mail the following with your comments or concerns about the issue:

Doug Voltolino @ dvoltolina@sjrwmd.com

or

Robert Christianson @ rchristianson@sjrwmd.com

Please take the time to write.

This is not just a local issue but one that can potentially spill over into other areas that SJRMWD which also owns & manages (172) one-hundred & seventy-two miles of river & hundred of thousand of acres of currently open marsh!!!

Thank you!!!

And if you have any questions, please feel free to call me on my cell phone.
