Moving to Florida

Postby ryano022 » Fri Jun 01, 2012 5:16 pm

I wrote a post a few months ago, but I am moving to winter garden June 17th. I'm moving down from western pa, I am not cyber scouting at all, I've put in my fair share of hours and miles scouting. I'm just trying to find a direction on what waters are huntable, regulations(here in pa we just need to be 150m from a occupied building and 25m from a road.) I use to live in Tampa and know the bays have bluebills and ring necks. I'm looking at getting a boat once I'm down there, found a few good deals on craigslist. Any info or direction would be greatly appreciated, I'm hoping to get some hunting in before getting deployed. Like I said, not trying to cyber scout, had too many of those in pa. If anyone is looking for a hunting partner, I'd be more than happy to join, got plenty of decoys and calls.

check out www.myfwc.com

That will give you info on the WMA's, license fees, regulations, etc. They also have a good FAQs section and if you can't find the answer there...give them a call.

I liked the no hunting on Sunday because there are alot of ignorant hunters up here and not letting them hunt Sunday only let's them hunt one day of the week instead of two.

You got better opportunity with me than on your own.

Tmclaimerfl: where are you from? I'm in the Windermere area, possible to meet up and start scouting?

Dixiedog: what kind of boat is it? What's included? Pics? What are you asking for it?
