How much ammo?

How much ammo do you guys bring with you for a day on the water(per shooter)? Is this number different during early teal and the main duck seasons?

Really depends on you and how you shoot. I generally bring along at least 2 boxes, but never have I shot more than half a box a hunt. As far as early teal vs. the main season, I think you'll probably shoot more during the main season due to bird limits being different.

6 birds for a limit + 3 shells for an emergency = 9 shells per day.

Not really, I usually keep two boxes in my bag at all times.
