Havent seen but 30 geese here ever and 28 were in the gulf after a bad storm 4 or so years ago. I think the other two were just lost as hell.

North Florida Fair grounds, the open space in front of the complex on monroe. Me and NorthFloridaFowler both worked for a catering company and we were catering a party and watched a massiae flock of geese work for 15 minutes and drop down. it was a sight to see

I was out this morning scouting out my wood duck hole, hearing geese the whole time. Afterwards, I ran the boat a bit and they were all hangin out in a field near me. No gun in my boat. Bummer

Be careful, couple of friends were chasing the rare birds they saw in central florida area last year during the mid season break on ducks and were written up for hunting ducks out of season, even though Goose season was open and they didn't have any ducks, only decoys. So, yes there are Canada Geese here although rare and rarer in a legal hunt area. Ones I saw last year, (3)flew down my street like jets on final approach of a landing strip about 20' high, beautiful and sickening at the same time. Porbably because I live around a Golf course and its prime water and field for them.
