After hunting being on the decline for many years the National Survey of Fishing, Hunting, and Wildlife Associated Recreation-U.S. Fish and Widllife Service 2012 that is taken every 5 years just realeased some numbers for 2011, they are as followed.
In the U.S.
-13,700,000 Hunters spent $34,000,000,000 ( up 9%).....$2,484/hunter/year
-33,100,000 Fisherman spent $41,800,000,000 ( up 11%).....$1,261/fisherman/year
-71,800,000 Widllife watchers spent $55,000,000,000 ( up 9%).....$766/person/year
I havent seen the specific FL numbers yet. They have not been released. This information was given to me in one of my classes at UF where I go to school for wildlife ecology/conservation
