What do you guys think is better?
1. Washing the meat then freezng it in plastic bag? (no water)
or
2. Washing the meat and freezing it with water that covers the meat. (large ice block)

No water if I will eat it that season, with water if it's going to sit in the freezer longer. That water drives out the oxygen preventing freezerburn.

I like to vaccum seal all my duck as well as fish. you prevent frezer burn and save space.

X2....just remember to clean out all juices before packing the food saver away. Sure can make a smelly surprise, especially fish.
