The Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission (FWC) still has Dove Club permits remaining for some of its special-opportunity dove fields throughout the state.

Permits are available for:

Caravelle Ranch (Putnam County)

Lake George Dexter/Mary Farms Unit (Volusia County)

Schneider Farms (Escambia County)

and new dove field – Watermelon Pond (Alachua County).

Dove Club permits can be purchased at county tax collectors’ offices, license vendors, MyFWC.com/special/dove or by calling toll-free 1-888-HUNT-FLORIDA (486-8356).

Permits are sold on a first-come, first-served basis and allow one adult and one youth (under age 16) to participate in all scheduled hunts for a designated dove field (up to 8 days). These Saturday, half-day hunts cost $150 and enable both the permit holder and youth to each take a daily bag limit of birds.

For more information on these great dove hunting opportunities, visit MyFWC.com/special/dove.
