Hey, I pulled a TM Goodwin permit for 1/15. Unfortunately I was awarded pick #15 and am wondering if it will be worth the ride from Jax. I have heard that bird numbers have not been the best this year and I figure that by mid january the birds will be really pressured by then PLUS being the 15 pick I will most likely end up in some mud hole with no birds and depenending where it is wont get out there until 20 minutes to shooting light! Hopefully I can get down there to check it out..
Never know until you go... By mid January, colder weather up north will have pushed some new birds down. If it were me, I would give it a shot.
I got nothing in the ast draw (same as first draw) I guess its not my year. I'd sure giv it a shot, that late season hunt is good for some nice full plume birds for the wall.
