You shot this limit of ducks in Leon County on a Friday, and you were shooting lead shot. Great to share that with us on the internet. You are an idiot.

And I will admit I did shoot on a Thursday, but that was an honest mistake. I rarely hunt in Leon and have gotten used to going out any day of the week. Already confessed to it and I apologize for my mistake, it happens. No need to be rude.

Maybe you should read the guidelines a little better before you go handing out insults. It's possible to hunt in Leon County seven days a week if one wishes to do so. Not all lakes are restricted to Wednesday, Saturday and Sunday, idiot.

It was a long drive for my buddies, but my inlaws live really close to the STA's... So it works in my favor... The wife gets to see her family, and I only have to see them in between hunts...lol

Agreed, I sold my 2005 F150 FX4 right before deployment, and bought a tacoma that was 5 years older.. People say I'm crazy for selling my ford when it was paid off, but I haven't regretted it at all....

I stopped needing a fancy truck once I got married.

Coots get a bad rap...they taste just as good, if not better than alot of the ducks we shoot around here. I've never had them in gumbo, but I've had them in a duck perlo before and you couldn't tell the difference between the coots and the rest of the ducks. The only reason I don't shoot more of them is because they're not particularly sporting (usually a waterswat) and they aren't a particularly meaty bird.
