Lol tmclaimerfl will eat road kill and he thinks he can cook, don't listen to him, trust me from experience when he says something is good, it tastes like poo :-) lol

Nice Greater drake...saw a few Greater hens last weekend, but opted to fill my bluebill limit with 4 Lesser drakes.

I always thought greaters stuck to the northern states? Both were enormous birds, just as big as the reds. I keep wanting to say they are greater, but I never thought they would travel this far.

Definitely greaters...they don't make it down here in near the numbers as the lessers, but some do make it. The obvious difference between the two is the size, but the white on a greaters wing spans the entire length of the wing, whereas the lesser fades out around the elbow. Also the nail on a greater's bill is much larger than a lesser.

my limit of woodies, plus what i believe to be a pintail, pretty positive but not to sure. the wings and everything looked right and ive seen them before where i hunt

Unfortunately I do not, everything looked right to me except the color of the bill which kind of threw me off so I wasnt very sure

Hybrid with what?everything I had was a positive I'd on a hen pintail expect for the yellowish bill. And you ain't lying, there ass is grass now but I bet they had a hell of a time
