where to hunt near jacksonville

Dont get me wrong i love baseball and football but duck hunting has always been more than a sport its been my passion i now live in jax fl and i have no idea where to hunt can anyone help me out? I would appreciate it...

You might try Guana River WMA. I can't tell you from experience but have heard they do get some birds there at times. You can find it at myfwc.com and look under the WMAs. I live and hunt the central part , and don't get that far north. Welcome to Florida.

Guana River is going to be your closest.
I can attest that Guana does receive a fair amount of birds, but it receives its fair amount of pressure as well.
Just south of Palatka is Rodman Resevoir, looking good there so far this year. I had a Hunter Safety class there this weekend and took a look around. Saw some Teal!
You can try Lake Goerge as well a little further south. if you get over here (Lake Goerge) let me know. I'll give the lowdown at that time.
