Coming back to Jax for awhile

Postby Ichabod97 » Fri Mar 08, 2013 4:18 am

Been stationed up here in Norfolk for a little over a year and half now, but spent the previous 9 years in Jax. I took some volunteer IA orders that brings me back to Jax for pretty much all spring and summer. Not sure if i will get to be around for the early teal season or if i will be on the ship for deployment. Either way, heading down the first weekend of April. Bringing my hybrid boat to do some fishing and if i don't sell the mud rig i will have that with me as well. Plan on doing a lot of fishing, hopefully some turkey and hog hunting and plenty of skeet shooting. So... :hi:

Sounds good man. I plan to hit up the intercoastal creeks back to my old holes here over the spring and summer. Picked up an outboard for the hybrid, so it will be a fishing machine!

Sweet man. I'll show you a few of my spots not far from the base...good for reds and trout. It would be nice to get a hog as well...got to follow up with Jaxduckman and see if he found a few spots to go for turkey and hog.

Good stuff dude I got a couple wholes and a couple places that you dont need a boat that just a few weeks ago a buddy got into some trouts. I have a permit to hunt Turkey's but I didn't go because of this autec trip that I was supposed to leave for Thursday and now its Sunday and we haven't left and we can't be out of cell phone range which is perfect but atleast its not during duck season.
