Golf Course Geese!

Postby patrick.carrington » Mon Dec 18, 2006 7:40 pm

A friend and I on deployment found a article on goose hunting and permits issued to duck and goose hunters for res geese on golf courses and we lost it and I cant find it. I was wondering if anyone had infomation on those hunts and were I can get the info. From what I can remember, the article said that permits were being given to hunters to thin the goose populations on golf courses. It was on a course by course basis but sounded fun. Anyway later dudes

Not in Florida. Illinois has it that I know of.
A resident/nuisance goose season established has not been established.
Only this year has Light Goose season been open throughout the entire state... Thanks to United Waterfowler's-Florida
