Anyone know where(if) you can hunt in monroe? I just moved two miles from the I-4/17-92 ramp. Took the boat out today and saw some ducks.

The government cut and around stone island are bird refuges. Don't get to close to the interstate and stay out of Debary creek and you should be alright.

Call me a yank, but ................. what are you refering to as the goverment cut?

saw a ton of birds right along 17 - 92 heading into sanford right across from the zoo. Just figured they were in a place I could't hunt. :pissed:

The straight river channel that goes up stream from Lake Monroe that was diug out by the gov a long time ago. The original river channel enters the lake to the north on the otherside of mothers arm point.

Just do not be sitting in the cannal its self. The area to the southis private land but most of the area to the north is water management district lands and can be hunted up to the white sighns. Most of mothers arm which is the point going out into the lake and back around to the old river channel is huntable.
