Shot him yeaterday morning(christmas eve). I'll be mounting this one next week.

Judging by the legth of wing covets (whites bars on the ends) looks to be a 1-3 year old bird.

I'm to the point I'm tired of shooting woodies, ever since the limit of woodies was dropped to 2 it's over in the first flight. :toofunny:

One year old or not hes going on the wall. I have been a taxidermist for the better part of 15 years and I have always loved the drake wood duck the best. Now I finnaly have one of my own. But now I keep going back and forth on which way to mount him. I've done them so many ways that now Im stuck.
