what chokes do you use

Postby Dyllan » Thu Dec 28, 2006 7:52 am

Home from Iraq on leave and went duck hunting for the first time yesterday with my brother. I've shot skeet/trap for about 2 yrs and Yes, I didn't get a duck, although my son did which is all I really wanted. My question is this. I'm shooting a 12 guage and my brother told me to use a Mod. choke..... is this the norm,,, I think we were shooting #4 shot. Also, I want to buy my brother a top of the line choke for duck hunting for his berreta 12 guage, money isn't an issue any sugg.
Thanks

I think that improved cyl is alot better than mod. Pattern master extended range or standard is about one of the best choke tubes out there. my brother swears by it i have not got one yet due to that i just got home from over seas also and i am in the process of getting everything together but i have been hunt and got some bird since i got home.. good luck
