turkeys?/end of season squirrel hunt.

ya, sort of two topics
well, since season closed, I had my first annual squirrel hunt. Included shotguns, pistols, .22, bb guns and paint ball guns.

Camped in a WMA primitave with the popup camper - me, my boy and a my deer hunting buddy. Good times. Although my 5yr old only lasted about an hour and a half - it was fun. He like the paintballs the best.

Got home and unpacked - - and PULLED OUT THE TURKEY GEAR!
bounce from one to the other.

You all excited? Just keep in mind, the more busy we are hunting other game, and gettin outside, the quicker early season is!

Getting hit with paintballs feels good doesn't it. Manage to get any tree rats. What WMA did you go to.

no rats. Fun anyway.

We went up near Lake George. South Side.

I had a similar post on another forum Im a member on, and a few other forum members got all up in arms about the possibility of hitting a squirell with a paint ball gun. Like you could hit one with a paint ball!

before this weekend, I had no idea that paint balls could give you such a welt. Maybe you were right about tree huggers. There is a balance.

Yes! It's possible to hit squirrels with paint guns. You just need to get away from factory parts and barrels. Spend a lot of $$$$ and get them pretty freaking accurate and fast she'it

That one was nothing. I've seen them break skin and bleed like a mother %^@!, or get hit in the nuts with one. Arm ones don't hurt that bad.

I was thinking about going to Lake George shoot some rats.
