Hunted south florida with my 2 sons and my Boykin this past weekend.

We shot 5, recovered 3 (two blackbellies and a BW teal) on Saturday. Sunday we shot 7, recovered 5 (four ringnecks and a BW teal).

I'd have more pics but I went over my waders in a gator hole and got the camera wet on Sunday, plus lost my keys!

Agreed! Boy howdy that looks like a great time! Using the Polaris too, that's a fun twist.

The private ponds haven't been bad, but it's been slim pickings on the public water

Good weather out there this afternoon, stayed in the 30's with a strong north wind, only got out for a couple hours but well worth it...

Finally got out to hunt after having the baby. 1st retrieve for my Boykin, he is a foster dog from Boykin spaniel rescue. It's taken 2 years for him to come out of his shell after being abused.

Shot 2 lawn darts and let him get one and let my lab get the other.

Nice that you took on a BSR dog. Hopefully his confidence and security with you will grow and you'll really enjoy him.

Had a great hunt yesterday! We ended up with a 3 man limit minus one of mine that got eaten by a gator. I personally had the best hunt of my life. I shot a beautiful pintail (which will be mounted) and a banded green winged teal (my first banded bird). Below are some pictures from our hunt.

I don't know how it could get much better than that
