New to the forum, so if this post is in the wrong place, I apologize.

What is a good place for (duck) taxidermy around Tallahassee?

Hardens in Thomasville is the best around south ga/ north florida in my opinion, they are high and take a while but are well worth it.

Wallhangers in Tallahassee is pretty good with ducks. I gave him a pintail that had been in the freezer for 5 years and he did a great job with it.

I hear Hardens can take a year to get your stuff back? Is that an exaggeration?

Alan davis at Wallhangers(his garage lol) does pretty good work, wasn't amazed but was pleased with two he's done for me. quick turn around too. couple months or so...same price as hardens.

X2...they stay backed up because they do great work. I've got two nice woodrow drakes that I'm dropping off after the new year.

Haven't been in Harden's in a while. They do great big game work and I have and have seen some great examples of his bird work...no doubt, he's probably the best in the area. If you're willing to ship though, for $50 more and the cost of shipping, you can jump from "nice mount" to world class. Just do your research.
