Explain to me how this gator hunting thing works. We never had gator in Michigan and I hear they are really good to eat.

Well, I got two more permits this morning before they sold out. I got 3rd week Lake Hell N Blazes and 4th week Lake Poinsett. Looks like I'll be making a road trip out of it.

that's my neck of the woods. there is some swamp camps out there that make a nice place to be before the sun goes down.

need a hand... give me a yell.

No, I've never been down that way. Any tips you may have would be greatly appreciated. I figure I would head down on tuesday of the 3rd week and stay a couple days rather than making two trips.

hellen blazes I'm gonna have to say is one of the better picks last season i counted 104 over probably 5-6ft at the southern end. oh and good luck guys never killed a gator before (wish i could kill them all honestly .243 with a 4x would do the trick just pick'em off)

just cause you killed freakin gator-zilla last year!!

best eating and best hide are on a 6 - 9 ft. gator.
unless you just want the head.

Iv killed big and small.
I prefer small to eat. The trophy mount on my fireplace is a 9.5
any bigger, it would have not fit. I custom killed that one.
