Hey Guys-

My name's Bill and I'm a Duck-a-holic. I'm 42 years old, and have been a Waterfowler for 25 years. I was introduced to this wonderful sport by my brother in law from Georgia and have hunted all over Alabama, Georgia, South Carolina and Florida. I am a past chapter president of my local DU in South Carolina while we were there but for the past 6 years have been living on the beach in Florida. I have a wonderful wife who not only understands my passion for all things ducky, but actually encourages it. We have been blessed with 2 great kids, a daughter and son who are well into their young adulthood and have been raised with a love for animals and the outdoors. We have a fat, lazy cat and a super Weimeraner named Wyatt who is being groomed for work afield one day soon. And like all of you, I too know and appreciate the wonder of our sport isn't in the taking of the game, but in everything that leads up to that moment in time-the boat, the dog, the best friend in the blind and that stillness early in the morning broken by the whistle of wind over wings. That's why I love this.

Iam 38 and have a wife and two duck, deer, hog and Turkey hunting boys. 7 and 8 yrs. old. I live in Apopka and have a duck boat with dog and have been Duck hunting lake Toho and Lake Panasoffkee. I wanted to learn more about the local lakes and St. Johns river and find some hunters that want to hunt during the weekday. Most of my friends can't do it. I have a ranch in Bushnell Fl. Lots of hog and deer that we bow hunt. So if you have some boys around my boys ages that want to have some company and we can get you on our ranch to hunt that would be great. None of there buddies hunt.

My name is Justin and I live in the Allentown community (crossroads between Milton and Jay,FL). I'm married with a four-year-old boy, Jake. I'm employed with the Univ. of Florida in Forestry research, and work all over North and Central Florida. I've hunted doves, deer and ducks here all of my short life, but Ive recently taken a much greater interest in duck hunting. My past experience with ducks was pass-shooting woodies on a creek near my home, and then I had a pair commit to some decoys I'd put out on a small pond. I've been totally hooked ever since!

I am Brad and I know I am late posting on here but here goes... I have been consumed by duck hunting for about 10 years now. All of which has been in NC so I am completely new to FL hunting and I am trying to understand the way the FWC words the rules & regs down here. Good grief!

been in the Navy for almost 21 years. Don't have a boat nor dog. so hunting is limited to renting a boat on base and retrieving the ducks myself. Luckily, I am horrible shot so I rarely get wet :)

Anyway, I have only hunted Guana River so far. I am branching out to other areas near Jax. Not too much season left so wish me luck

Evenin' folks.
My name is Clint, and I'm addicted to hunting.
I also have a serious vice for fishing, both salt and freshwater, so I pretty much keep my wife upset year round. I grew up in Michigan and got transplanted to North florida about 15 years (and one wife ago) after I spent 4 years floating around on one of Uncle Sam's big gray boats. I finally settled in Lake City where I am employed as a Detective Sergeant with our police department, and married to the best third grade teacher in all of North Florida.
My greatest passions are turkey hunting, and traditional bow hunting, but I'm really getting back into duck hunting after about a 5 year hiatus and the loss of my best friend and hunting partner (that's her in my avatar). I also enjoy flats fishing and bowfishing in the off months.
I look forward to conversing with you folks, and maybe sharing a cup of coffee if ya'll happen to be huntin in my neck of the woods.
Thanks for having me.
