WTB: Mud Motor

Postby cary00silve » Tue Aug 07, 2007 7:09 am

I'm looking for a mud motor around 10hp for my 14' jon boat. I would like something cheap, and don't care if it's well used as long as there is still some life in it. Please let me know if anyone has any leads I can track down.

I'll see what I can come up with...
A few years ago small HP motors were cheap and plentiful, now they're next to impossible to find at a good price on the used market.

I think I'm gonna have to let this one go. My wife won't approve that much right now. I think I can spend around $500 so if any finds one in that range let me know. I know that's really cheap, but I don't mind it being a little beat up and well used. Thanks for the posting, though!

no problem.

I dont know what Im going to do yet. I have a lead on a houseboat for cheap... and I might get that instead of the back up motor.

or maybe Ill get it instead.

or maybe both.

heck, I just dont know. Im going to look at the house boat today. Well see.
then finding a place for it.

Anyone know where is cheap on the St. Johns? I know someone who wants me to put it up on Lk George. wonder who.
