I have been quiet for a while, just logged in to say - that jet ski would make Kenny Powers proud...

Sure do. I figured since I never take my compound in the woods anymore I'd just loosen the poundage and add the reel. Works great.

That's cool man but I promise if you use a glove and fingers, you'll never go back. Your shooting will become more instinctive. Looks like you've been getting them good keep it up! Looks like a pretty bow to be bowfishing with, what poundage you on? Always wanted to stick some tilapia.

It's a diamond liberty I believe it's an 05 model. I've tried with my bare fingers but it seems like every time I do it the string gets a point in it where the arrow is knocked and the arrow will sometimes pop off. The string has a loop in it made for the release. I'll have to give it a try again when I go back out. I'd guess the tension is around 50lb or more. Was at 73 I think when I used it for big game.

The tilapia are fun to shoot and there are a bunch down here in Tampa. I are some two nights in a row. One for fish tacos and the other fried. Both were great. I always kidded people about eating them because it's really a plain fish, but you can do a lot with them.
