Please share your opinion and experience on creating movement in decoy spread?
Single jerk rig?
Series Jerk rig?
4 way Jerk rig?
Weazel ball duck?
RC duck?
MOJO wing spinners motorized or not?
I like to use a mojo on teal or early in the season...once you begin to hunt older birds or birds that have been hunted I see they seem wary to put the feet down.
Imo the best is a jerk rig with 3 or 4 decoys on it, it creates enough subtle motion to catch the eyes. Half the time it gets them to decoy if they are overhead for us
The best luck that I've had is using mojos early on in the season, then using only the jerk rig after about halfway through the season. The ducks get wary of mojos since they see it so often early on.
