hello, I am staying down in Cairo GA pretty much full time for work, and i'll be down here for most of the duck season. I was wondering if there is anywhere in the local area to duck hunt. Any help would be appriciated.

I am from Cairo although I'm in school in Statesboro. The main place people go are Seminole though there are usually more boats than ducks and certainly will be the issue Saturday! There are a couple other lakes in Fl in Leon county you can check out...never got down there to ever hunt but there are some motor restrictions on some of them. If ya need any help feel free to shoot me a pm. Enjoy your stay in Cairo!

Watch out for Seminole if you don't know where you're going. It's full of Gators and prop bustin stumps.

I towed a guy back in last time I was there, which has been a couple of years now.

Hooah Dep6. Thanks. Great hearing from ya again.

I poke my head into the GA forum every once in a while just to see how you boyz are doing. I retire this summer and will be headed back to the great state of GA. Maybe see you and that GADHUNTER around ole Seminole lake next season.

If you see an old guy with a white beard and an ear ring in one ear wearing camo's with a cardboard sign that says Iraq Vet, will do power point for food, how bout throwing me a buck or two? LOL :lol3:

Which ear means your straight? I wanna make sure I get that right!

Take care.
