Hello to Georgia duck hunters,
May be relocating to Kingsland Georgia, family has been there for 20 plus years, Dad retired from the base. Have all my own gear, carve my own decoys, and have a 13 foot Blackjack duck boat. Here in Vermont, its tough hunting, so I am used to it, hunt my ass off and won't be outworked. Love woodie hunting and is my favorite bird to carve, so heres the question, what can I expect in this area? Not secret holes, but general hunting. I am thinking St marys river, Altamaha, little satilla etc. Can access remote areas with kayaks as well. Has anyone ever gone way up the St marys towards the swamp and hunted there? I will have to get used to the rules, they are different, for sure. Thanks in advance, maybe I can get to meet some of the guys in this area and kill some ducks.
