Just moved!!

Postby elrod55 » Sun Nov 07, 2010 12:41 pm

We (Eddie 8 yr Blk Lab) just moved from Central Florida. I've been hunting mainly out of a boat for 25 years. We hunt Lake Toho and Okechobee. I have a 16" PolaKraft Avery Quik set. Great for larger bodies. I wanted to see if anyone would like to trade some trips for a quick education and or hunts for Georgia ducks. We can take you Tarpon fishing "GreenWater Guides".

Sir,
I'd just about sell my soul for a shot at a tarpon! Unfortunately, I'm down here in south ga... If you want to come shoot woodies, c'mon down. If you haven't already setup an account for the draw hunts around the state, you might want to.

It takes a few years to get drawn for those hunts so you don't have to know where you want to hunt right away. Just start collecting the points...
That's about all I know. The dnr page isn't great for info, but it will get you started.

Good luck.
