Lake Juliet comes to mind but i am sure it is covered with more boats than it can stand.

It sure was Saturday morning and likely will be for the first few weeks after the second season comes in. I hunt there because it is very convenient for me. No where else really comes to mind around middle ga. There are some decent areas on Oconee National Forest Land if you are willing to hike a good ways.
