what's everyone doing?

Well, it's obvious I won't get to try duck hunting this time. Oh well. What is everyone planning to do until the season starts again?

My wife scheduled the contractor to start renovating the bathrooms this weekend. I'm sitting here listening to my walls getting torn down. Later headed to a Tech Club meeting with my little girl. This weekend just wasn't meant to be for me.

May get some carving done though

SLEEPING!!! I forgot how good it feels not to have to wake up at 430...
Personally, I'm glad season is over. I'll miss it in about June, but right now, I'm burned out! It was fun while it lasted. Met some cool people. Bumped into a few jerks. Spent waaaay too much on gas and accessories. Glad that's done with... till crappie start biting. I heard they already are... I'm screwed.

I guess it means it's time to start winning some bass tournaments so I'll have some more money to spend on duck hunting next season.

Ditto.
Spring hunt test season, then turkey season, then go to the lake and drink beer season.

Usually run whatever is close AKC, HRC, like them both. AKC is a bit more challenging.
Probably gonna run both Juniors and Seniors.

No, I live in Navarre I usually train with 2 other people and list the help of a trainer when I feel like the dog is bogged down. If you are looking for a group to train with you should look at the Tallahassee Retreiver Club. South GA. is the Mecca for professional dog trainers (in the winter months) alot of the top field trialers winter in that area.

Met a guy from that club this past weekend at SOWEGA HRC. Thinking about joining that club for some new training opportunities.
We ran seasoned on Sat and Sun. Sat went good with the dog 2 whistle-ing the water blind and 3 on the land.
Sunday was a disaster and he went on auto pilot.
Thought about going to a text next weekend..but the smarter part of me is saying to train harder throughout the summer and waiting til fall.
