That makes two of us for the Florida Opener. I will hunt TX this next week and then turn around in a week and kill em' in Florida! :grooving:

Pretty good shoot... two hunters 6 teal by 7:15. should have had a limit but we missed a couple easy ones. :thumbsup:

way to many boats!! you would think it was regular season.. had a great hunt, 2 limits by 7:40 :thumbsup:

Solo hunting...limited by 7:30...Just sat and watched it unfold around me...Loved being back out there for that sunrise!!!

Sounds like it's starting off to a good year, I'll be sitting this one out. Currently down in Pearl Harbor working for six months and know of NO hunting of ducks here, I will not be back in GA until FEB 2012.

I was extremely surprised this past weekend. I wasn't expecting to see any teal where I was at. All I remember was hearing the wind whistle over my head as a small flock of (unidentified) ducks flew over and my heart sank....

I've been talking to my hunting buddies up in the Pamlico Sound, NC area. They've seen record numbers so far, and it's extremely early. I have the suspicion we here in the Atlantic Flyway are going to see a record season.
Most Common phrases out of a duckers mouth:
Why couldn't you have been born a duck!!!

YES!!!i know that my post is far ahead from the opener but it was fla out amazing....we got set up about 15 minutes before sunrise and timed it perfect....we saw about 200-300 teal that day,,,no joke....and dropped about 5 geese.... :shades:
im either duck huntin,gettin ready to,or eatin em
