Congrats on the ducks! Did you shoot them on private or public land? I just got into duck hunting this year, and have been having some trouble finding the ducks around here. Tried the lake in several places, didn't find many ducks, found lots of geese and have gotten into some good numbers of them. I also tried asking for some guidance from other duck hunters as to the general area of some good spots, but most of the hunters around here are pretty secretive about their spots.

you went to phinzy swamp it is a good place if you have time to do some scouting (cause you cant park on bobby jones any more) but the lake is good but like anything in augusta it requires burning some gas and finding them then hope no one knows about the same place as you

Phinizy Swamp has been a madhouse the past few years. Too bad you're not allowed to hunt the ponds at the Brickyard. I see Hundreds and Hundreds of Ducks every time I drive by on Bobby Jones.

If you know the right people you can hunt the brickyard ponds but again it is all in who you know not what you know

It wasn't Phinzy swamp......checked with the guy who invited me and he said it's near the swamp but said it was on the Bobby Jones side.....whatever that means. Hope to go this upcoming season as well.

yeah bobby jones runs from martinez GA to north augusta SC, but the only land i know of to hunt of on bobby jones is phinzy swamp and the brick yard ponds (private) everything else is industial or residental.
