Rivers or Ponds?

Postby JWindish » Sun Jul 22, 2012 2:54 pm

I am a beginner hunter and I was wondering which is better, hunting over a river or open water like a pond or something?

Tough call on that one, sometimes the birds will work the river. sometimes they want a pond with nice still water to rest and play in. Gonna need to scout the area you want to hunt and see what the birds are doing.

x2 scouting is the best way to find out were the ducks are and where you need to be set up..
