hello, i would like to know where i could take my son duck hunting, i am looking for a place where we could field hunt, or to a place that has boats. I am an army ranger, all my equipment ie boats and motors are in michigan, but i would like to introduce him to duck hunting. thanks.

Ranger,

Lots of places you can take your son on the 'Hootch near Benning to woodduck hunt with knee boots. Rough walking and spotty hunting. Others living in your area may help with better spots.

Easier hunting for geese and some big ducks on Lake Lanier north of Atlanta. Most of the campgrouds are closed now and you can park 1km from the spot and walk in on a hardball. Old Federal, Shoal Creek and others have been ok in past years.

Good hunting!
