Heard a rumor that rhetts was closed. Anyone know anything about that?

It's closed because the lack of fowl, you can go and waste time and money for sure, ready to head elsewhere

It's open for bird watching. Not much shooting to take place.

Saturday we took 12 birds, Sunday- 5 Snow's and 14 Ducks, Monday- 6 Ducks.

Just not much flying like the typical morning flight. We really had to work for those birds. Hopefully next few weeks a few more birds show up.

We shot 15 on Butler Island on Jan. 5. 3 limits of teal, 2 spoonies and a lesser scaup.... Anybody see the Tundra Swan flying around out there? To quote the warden at the check station......"it is a BIG WHITE BIRD......DO NOT SHOOT IT!"......it was pretty funny.
