My buddies and I are Ranger instructors up at Camp Merrill in Dahlonega, Northern Georgia. A good percentage of us are avid outdoorsmen and love to get out and hunt. I have hunted waterfowl back home and a few more of us have hunted waterfowl in a few places we have been stationed. But so far, all of us have struck out in trying to find some place to duck hunt in the local area. Can someone please help us out with SOMEWHERE, ANYWHERE to get on some birds. We aren't looking for a honey hole or anything, just some place we can get out and call some birds down. Thanks for the help ahead of time guys.

My advice would be to stop at every local farm pond etc around your area and ask for permission. From my experience hunting here thats the best hunting we have. (Farm ponds/swamps etc) Public waters are flooded with people.... 10 hunters/1 duck

, I don't know much about up that way, but jstewart has some pretty good advice, I would think you might find some local flocks of geese with some judicious scouting.
