Ringneck Decoys and Ringers

Postby killerv » Mon Dec 16, 2013 7:15 am

Took a few over some handcarved birds yesterday. Bottom right one is one Ringneck carved a few years back, top right is one of mine, and others are from Missouri and Delaware.

Carved this bird over two years ago, never really dug the carving but finally painted her Saturday morning for some strange reason. Quicket paint job I've ever done on a bird. Had an extra keel that was perfect for her so got her rigged up in hopes for a little shooting. It's a testament to the paints we use, bird had been dry maybe 18 hours and it held up great.

Nice

Love the simple paint scheme.
