That is great hunt. There aren't a lot of people who have killed a Pintail in Georgia. I have killed them west of here, but never in GA.

That is correct I don't know if your familiar with lake blackshear but that's where we hunt and it's near about a miracle that we got a pintail there much less anything else.

Nice, I love me some Hevi-shot as well but these days I been using Hevi-metal, can't afford Hevi-shot. But I like the knock down power of the Hevi stuff!!

A good morning for the four of us, retrieving by Yukon's Kanati Super Chief-very cold and tough retrieving through Ice. We did not loose a duck.

Nice, I still have a GWT Drake on my bucket list, I can't seem to shoot one that is in good enough condition to take to the taxidermist, maybe one of these days I can!!

Wouldn't be advertising blackshear on this thread homes

Nice Boykin (seminole_sigmanu), I have a couple Boykin-spaniels; my male being the larger of the two shows good retrieving skills, just now need to train on scent.
Life is not a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in
a pretty and well-preserved body, but rather to skid in broadside,
thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and loudly proclaiming --WOW -- " What a ride!!!

Thanks. I love mine. I also volunteer for Boykin Spaniel Rescue. My male is a work in progress. He was a foster we adopted. He's had a hard life so I can't push him too much.
