lookin for info on charlie elliot wma. ive heard u could hunt there but not sure about the regs. also looking for swamps on the oconee natl forest in jasper county around clay road. i know of a few, wonderin if anyone would like to share.

soo you found any yet. i know of a few my self but have a had bad experiences with taking friends over there. now i just keep my mouth closed cause i mean it is public land. but i will tell you to download google earth got a buddy who did that and went riding around overthere and a found a roosting hole with tons of woodies and mallards back in early december.

I found some woodies on Clybel ,but it has been spotty.

went charlie elliot killed one woodie and had a few geese come in. hope to try it again this weekend

i would go alot more often, but i hate goin by myself. if yall ever need a huntin partner at clybel., im all for it. i live close to jackson lake.

I know of somewhere around ten swamps to hunt on Oconee NF but none of them have really produced much more than a few woodies. We have seen some mallards but the sightings have been very spotty. There is a big swamp on clay rd but the two times I have hunted it only seen a few birds and no shots yet.
If it's old enough to breed its old enough to bleed....(deer that is)

My son and I did fair this weekend at Clybel. We didn't get any woodies even though we saw at least 10. We did get 2 Canadians which I don't believe were residents.
