Well it was an off and on again season for me. Some highlights and some lows, did get skunked more than one time out, violation of rule #1, but that happens.

All in all It was a good season for me, 3 more species that I been after were taken, my taxidermy bill is gonna be outrageous. My plus was taking my nephew out and getting his first bird. Plus another friend with his first Widgeon!!

I ended my season Sunday morning in the swamp with my cousin. i got a limit of woodies and he had 1. prolly killed 20 or so birds in one hole. it's awesome watching thme little buggers come in to a place where they want to be no matter what you're doing.

Weekend before Tanksgiving group of 7 went to southeast missouri and killed 11 birds. hunting was hot as for as tempurature and hunting was slow!!
Hunted in NW TN Last weekend and killed 17 birds. I also killed a banded mallard. We hunted with Mike Newsom with Flooded timber.com Great hunt with him; killed mallards, gadwal, and widgeon.

I really need to get a duck boat so i can go to other places beside GA to kill other birds other than woodies. I planning on some trips to the TN river, Gunnersville, other places in AL and GA.

Hope all have a great and safe season!!

I been accused of being TOO sneaky with the camera sometimes, did you see you in the layout boat? Lost alot of my pics, over 100 when one of my digital cams took a crapper on me, I was really upset that day, even had my redhead drake pics lost.

Yea I noticed me out there in that boat.
At least you didn't think to take pictures during some of those moments.
