i don't think dhc has a hunter from hi if we do then he never looks in the state form because there isn't any one to talk to :thumbsdown:

No Duck Hunting allowed in Hawaii, I wondered why there was even a Forum dedicated to it.

Because there are duck hunters that live here!

Yeah, no duck hunting here in Hawaii. There are some active chapters of DU here and duck related conservation issues.

I travel back to Michigan for duck hunting season every year.

And...I do look at this forum!

Thats BS. i understand there might not be too mant ducks in Hawaii, but at atleast give you guys a chance at like a 1 or 2 bird bag.....dang. What about wild pigs? is that big there?

wild pig, turkey, I guess spear fishing could be like hunting.

Yep they were introduced. Hogs too. I think I have heard of other game birds (upland) that have established populations on some islands. Quail maybe?
