Welcome to the boards!
Someone from your neck of the woods should chime in soon. That is cool your wife wanted to go, my wife thinks I am crazy getting up at 3am to kill dux.

I am new to boards as well, and I am probably relocating to the Twin Falls area. Any one willing to share some info about where to find some good shooting. I won't be hunting until next season but I would like to start finding some places to try my luck before I get to carried away by life. I currently spend my time around American Falls. I am used to hunting over water.
Thanks for the help.

Just go see the fish cops in Jerome and they will tell you where you can and can not hunt. That is the first thing you should do and do it fast the season opens Oct. 13th is what I was told. Hope this tip helps
I love the smell of gun powder in the morning
