Those are some nice pictures. I haven't had the chance to get out yet, been real busy. I might try for Sunday. Where are you hunting at?

I normally hunt the river out of the CJ Strike WMA. I think this year I'll be trying some new areas. Have you tried the Crane Falls area?

I have gotten 1 mallard (we don't see too many), 3 widgeons, 1 redhead, 1 gadwall, 3 greenwing teal, 1 wood duck, 2 bufflehead, and a coot (ha). So that would be 12 + a coot. It seems like I have gotten far more than that, but after counting them up, I'm pretty sure that's about it. We need some more hunting spots up here in North Idaho.

casey, I am not sure where you are hunting but there are plenty of spots between Sandpoint and Bonners. Do some scouting - a boat helps - and you will be rewarded richly. Even if you're walking in there are still plenty of spots.

Cool.. We have a big variety of ducks here, and even though i know we have a couple goldeneye here, I personally haven't even seen any so far. I knew what the drakes looked like, but not the hens.
