New to the neighborhood

Postby FlyFishingFreak » Fri Jan 20, 2012 10:21 pm

Hello,
I just moved to Boise and am eager to explor the wonders of the area. If anyone is interested in going out let me know. I'm always willing to do something be it fishing, shed hunting, hiking, hunting next year, whatever. I'm eager for next years upland, and waterfowl in Idaho.

I was born in Vegas (unfortunately) graduated from UNR and moved here because I love it.

We do have some amazing opportunities not far from home. What is shed hunting?

Shed hunting is looking for antlers from elk, deer and do on after they fall off.

Shed hunting is something I'm new to. I would like to find some elk sheds. Some people sell them but I'm not really interested in that.

Also does anyone know any upland or shed forums or fly fishing? This site is fine but usually becomes a ghost town in 1 week.

Thanks.

Oh! I've never heard of shed hunting. It sounds cool though. I worked at a little packing house years ago. We sold the antlers and ivories at the end of each season. Was a lot of money in them.

Speaking of shed hunting, check out these bad boys i just picked up! Im all the way on the east side though.
As well as good shed forums, try: Tines Up, Muley Madness, and Monster muleys, all great sites!
