Heading out Tomorrow

Postby Waterfowlhammer » Sun Jan 22, 2012 7:05 pm

Looks like it's going to be a slow week at work so I am going to make the most of the last few days of the season. Starting tomorrow and I got the perfect spot picked out. Just hope the birds come to play. :hammer:

Good luck, the ducks have vanished from the river. We saw thousands in the newly flooded fields though.

Yep, no need to go to the river now when you have all that standing water in those chopped corn fields.

Shot one bird. Saw only about 10 ducks all day and 25 geese. The birds are gone completely from the area I hunt. The weather pushed them out of the area as I did some scouting and no fields are holding any birds within a 25 mile radius. So i called it a season as my season was stellar anyways.
