Hevi Hitters

Postby Quackersmacker208 » Tue Jan 24, 2012 6:26 pm

Hey all,
Been a while since I posted anything, but I was wondering if anyone on here is a member in the duck club in the valley? Hope everyone had a great last week of season! Time to hang the waders up and catch some sleep.

Hevi Hitters

Postby Squishy » Sun Jan 29, 2012 5:25 am

A buddy of mine was a member for the 2010-11 season. I went with him a few times and was not impressed at all. He never got to hunt the "special" places (that are suppose to be open to all members). When he brought up questions on their forum he was bad mouthed and then black-balled. I would spend the membership fees on a boat and gas before ever thinking of giving Hamerick a dime.

I hunted hevi hitters property almost 3 times a week this whole season, and do not recommend it at all. I agree with squishy 100% get a boat then when you spend the 8000 bucks, you have something to show for it, birds or not.

yep corey is a complete d bag. my friends ex gf dated his daughter, no one should support that guy. only hooks up his best friends in the club with the productive blinds/fields

This club is a joke from what I have heard. And this Cory dude is not very "liked" by anyone who has mentioned his name.

I don't really think it's a "joke"....I've hunted there as a guest 3 times in the last couple years. Have had one amazing day, one good day, and one day three of us never fired a shell...I don't know the owners (although I'd like to get to know his daughter from previous posts) but it wouldn't surprise me that certain people who have been with the club for years(and have become good friends with the owner) get better blinds on a regular basis...It's a business. I for one am not shelling out that kind of cash to hunt for one year considering the weather year we just had.

Although........If I win that fricken powerball tomorrow (325 million) I'm going to buy up a $hit ton of private wetlands in the T.V. manage it with closed zones (like hevi-hitters) and open it to the public!!!!!.................OK now back to my malt liquor.
Gettin er done, one duck at a time!

yeah if you look at my season recap pics, the kid with the eagle high school cut off shirt in the dove hunt pictures is the kid that dated corey's daughter. she is engaged tho now :( unfortunately he screwed that up hahahaha. but yeah its way too much money for that, i'd rather spend a fraction of that money on flooding corn fields myself like what i'm doing for this next season.
