Idaho Outfitters and Guides Licensing Board Sept. Meeting

Postby goosepond » Thu Aug 30, 2012 7:12 am

Good morning everyone. If you look at the OGLB website, you will find that their next meeting is Sept. 5 & 6 at their office in Boise. ... -28-12.pdf

At that meeting, they are going to discuss Review and Approve Rules for Promulgation – Trapping and Turkey and Waterfowl Hunting. So, here is your first chance to stand up and speak out against this proposal. Once again, this rouge agency is totally ignoring any comments or input by Idahoan's who oppose the expansion of any more guiding for waterfowl and turkey in Idaho. So with that said, those of you who are close by and can attend that meeting, please try to make it and pack that meeting room and let them know that you are not pleased with their actions and their ignoring the sportsmen and women of Idaho. Let them know that this will be taken to those that do oversee the operations and funding of the OGLB and will force this to be an open process with all Idahoan's and they will listen to the sportsmen of Idaho.

It will also be interesting to see if anyone who supports this action shows up and openly supports what the OGLB is doing. I would encourage all of you who can go, to force the OGLB to give names or atleast show that they have a demonstrated need to continue with this proposition. If anyone knows any of the state legislators who may side with the opposition of this proposal by the OGLB that might want to attend with you or at least go sit in and listen, I would encourage you to invite them to go along with you and hear what the OGLB has to say along with any that attend and oppose the OGLB proposal.

Good luck and it will be interesting to see what happens. Dont stop folks, keep this ball rolling and let's stop this rouge agency from ignoring the wants and desires of the majority of Idaho's sportsmen and women instead of supposedly giving this program to a few who will not be identified.
