Does anyone know of places in Northern Idaho to duck hunt that doesn't require a duck boat? I'm not asking for your secret spot, just a tip to some possible areas to check out. I usually go with people who have boats, but I want to get out on my own and do some hunting myself. Thanks for your help!

Go to the Fish and Game office on Kathleen Avenue in Coeur d'Alene and they should be able to recommend some walk-in spots. There are many in various places in N Idaho.
My first couple of seasons here I did quite a bit of walk-in hunting at the Kootenai Refuge up in Bonners Ferry but there are definitely places that are closer.

Dude do what we all do.....use satelite imagery, and get in your truck and drive around looking for spots...check on the fish and game website for wma's and access points...its pretty simple but time consuming! Good luck
is that my beer?
