Finally...got my first limit of the season - they flew very well today.

We didn't get limits yesterday during the snowstorm, but we had a great shoot for four guys.
Good to see the 5 inches of snow we had finally. Brought in some new birds!
I'm thinking we'll see more in the coming days.
So the words Fall and Autumn are not to be capitalized?
They are in my world.

I had to go try out the boat on the Snake to see if my missing propeller tip was going to goof up the outboard so I went prepared for a quick 2 hour hunt in the early afternoon in case the motor was okay...not bad all things considered. The outboard did not exhibit any untoward vibrations and I hit the geese 'flight path lottery' when a small group flew right over me. However after adding the mallard and the gray duck things quieted down quickly so I bounced back in.
