One is a bigger piece of crap than the other.

Oh, you meant any other differences. Sorry.

I have no idea, but I saw that Rogers Sporting Goods has the Hot Buy 2's on sale (If you're shopping online)

They might be cheaper decoys, but I don't see a problem with them.. Heck, they look better than over-priced G&H, and people shoot ducks over those garbage decoys (can't help it.. I hate G&H)

So a buddy and I each bought a dozen a few years ago for filler decoys. Well they didn't even last a month. Paint started falling off and a few of the keels broke. I thought about turning them into coots but just got so frustrated with them that I threw them away.

Agree with you on the G&H Casey. The newer ones looks horrible. I have a dozen older G&H that I love, will repaint them at the end of the season. They are 16 years old and still on the OG paint. Now that is quality. Plus the body style looks true to life.

OP save some money and buy quality decoys, you will save money in the long run. I am buying some Tanglefree dekes when they go on sale.

I agree with you Abomb. After seeing HaydenHunter's I bought some on sale last year, the Tanglefree migration mallards look fantastic and I would like to get some more. However for cheap decoy's I would look into the Stormfronts. They look really good and are really cheap. I don't know about paint on them, but I don't think I will be buying any more GHG anythings anymore. The quality used to be just ok, but now it seems to all be junk. I have some pro-grade wigeon that I kept in a slotted bag and they are flaking paint like there is no tomorrow. I guess they will make ok coot decoys after they turn black

lighten up mainman, I thought it was funy. Besides, I think slider may be right, marketing types are often that way. I'll bet the hot buy 3's are muy awesome.

+1 for the Stormfront mallards for fillers. Picked up a dozen of them for like $30 a year ago. Was using hot buys to fill in the spread before that but turned them into divers once I got the storm fronts. Running some Tanglefree mallards for my main attraction, with the Stormfronts and some FA's as fillers.

IN MY OPINION, not all of your decoys need to be fantastic looking. I know guys who completely disagree and pride themselves on having some of the best kept and best looking decoys around. They do well with them... but we shoot limits all the time over decoys that look a lot worse than theirs. I'm sure your hot buys will work just fine.

I am positive that one of them is still a bigger piece of crap than the other so, you're welcome.

Waveslider, once was fine, second time was unnecessary.. He doesn't need to be pestered, he asked a simple question.

Thread locked.
