birds frozen by mistake

as you all know, it tends to be a bit cold out this time of year in idaho. i shot some birds the other day and now they're frozen rock solid in my truck, still whole (not gutted). its been extremely cold, so im sure the meat is fine. anyone else ever been through this before? how did you thaw them? did you breast or pluck? was it good? its been 2 nights now that theyve been frozen solid

I had the same thing happen to me when I was hunting northern california. I parked it in the garage and poured some water around them and they lifted off. They will be fine to eat.
